Arrival & Access

Parking
  • Park along the driveway or front of the property. Multiple cars fit comfortably.
  • The garage is not available for parking.
  • Please avoid the landscaping. The decomposed granite and desert plants are sensitive and part of what makes this property beautiful.

Front Door
  • Your door code will be provided through your booking confirmation.
  • At the front door you will find a Yale smart lock. Enter your code and press the small lock icon button. Watch the video
  • When the door unlocks you will hear a click. Come on in.
Locking up when you leave: The front door is custom natural wood and may bow slightly due to desert heat. Pull the door firmly toward you and press the white Yale button. All numbers on the keypad will light up to confirm it locked. If you see an X pattern or hear a warning sound, pull again and retry. Test it by trying to reopen before you walk away. Watch the video

❄️ AC / Thermostat
  • Thermostat is in the hallway. Set it to whatever is comfortable during your stay.
  • At checkout please set it to: Cool mode / Fan Auto / 85°F. The extreme desert heat requires this to protect the floors and furniture.
🎱 Garage & Game Room
  • Pool table with a black cover. Fold and place on the cart's bottom shelf when not in use. Do not let it touch the ground. Replace when done.
  • Two arcade games with on/off switches. Turn them off when done. They run loud.
  • Small drink counter — for cups and drinks only. Not heavy duty.
Outdoor Spaces

The Backyard

One of the highlights of the property. Resort-style, private, and built for the desert.

Both run on propane

Tanks start in the closed position. Turn on before use. Turn off completely when done.

Fire pit ignition

Hold the igniter button while pushing in and rotating the gas knob counterclockwise. Once lit, release igniter and adjust the flame. A how-to video is available.

Before you leave

Always turn off both propane tanks fully at the end of each use and at checkout. This applies to both the fire pit and the BBQ.

Remove both straps

City requirement. Detach the dirt-side connections and flip straps to the deck side for easy reattachment later.

Place cover on deck only

Do not place the spa cover on the dirt or ground.

Controls

Light button, temperature up/down, blower, and jet 1. Jet 2 does not apply to this model.

When done

Turn off lights, jets, and blower. Replace cover and reattach both straps. This is required every time.

🪑 Gazebo  Cushion setup video
  • Four egg basket hanging chairs with cushions. Cushions are stored in the bin under the gazebo.
  • Attach cushions using the straps. It gets very windy. Keep everything tied down at all times.
  • Return all cushions to the storage bin at checkout.
🌿 Hammock Area  Watch video
  • Five posts hold up to four hammocks. A how-to video is available.
  • Remove the carabiner from the eyelet, thread the hammock end through, and reattach the carabiner. Do the same on both ends.
  • One adult per hammock. Two children maximum.
  • Hammocks are light colored. Keep them clean and off the ground.
  • Return all hammocks to the storage bin at checkout.
Please stay on concrete walkways throughout the yard and avoid walking through the landscaping. The desert plants and decomposed granite are sensitive and part of what makes this space beautiful.
Guidelines

House Rules

The Basics
  • No smoking inside the home.
  • Quiet hours are 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
  • No parties or gatherings beyond the registered guest count.
  • Please conserve water. The high desert is a dry environment.
  • Pets: confirm pet policy through your booking.
Property Care
  • Stay on concrete pathways. Avoid walking through the landscaping.
  • Do not remove the fan remote from the primary bedroom wall.
  • The drink counter in the game room is for cups only. Do not lean or place heavy items on it.
  • If there are items in the garage fridge that are not yours, please leave them.
Before You Go

Checkout Instructions

Checkout is at 11:00 AM. Please take a few minutes to go through this list before you leave.

🏠 Inside
  • Turn off all lights and ceiling fans
  • Close all blinds and window coverings
  • Turn off the TV
  • Set thermostat: Cool / Auto / 85°F
  • Load and run the dishwasher
  • Dispose of trash in outdoor bins
  • Strip linens and leave in laundry area
  • Leave used towels in bathrooms
  • Close primary bathroom window if opened
  • Turn off arcade games
🌵 Outside
  • Turn off all propane tanks (fire pit + BBQ)
  • Return all gazebo cushions to storage bin
  • Return all hammocks to storage bin
  • Replace pool table cover on cart shelf
  • Replace spa cover and reattach both straps
🔒 Locking Up
  • Lock all doors and windows
  • Pull front door firmly toward you (video)
  • Press the white Yale button
  • Confirm all numbers light up on keypad
  • Try reopening the door to confirm locked
